I really should be working on the redesign of AvalancheCountry.com, but I just don’t feel like coding after doing it all day. #
I’m sitting here, staring at my laptop screen, not wanting to do anything. I think that’s a sign to step away from the lappy. #
I need to put some serious thought into a vacation. I’m starting to feel like a caged animal. #
Getting ready to take my car to the shop. Luckily it’s close enough so I can walk back home. And it’s not too cold out. #
Debating stopping for coffee on the way home since I’ll walk right by Starbucks. #
Stopped at Starbucks for a coffee. #
Now I have a headache from walking home in the cold. Great. Hopefully the coffee will chase it away. #
Car repairs gonna cost $401.08. Oil change, transmission total fluid exhange and replace plugs, fuel filter, and fuel pressure regulator. #
Front brake rotors and pads also need to be replaced, but would be another $200. So I’m gonna wait on that one a week or two. #
Thank goodness I’ve got money stored up specifically for these car maintenance items. Otherwise I’d be foobarred. #
I think the fuel pressure regulator is the reason I was having the issues I was with my car, based on what I found when googling. #
So hopefully getting that replaced will fix the main issue I’ve been having with my car. HOPEFULLY!!! #
Repair shop called. Car is done. I’ll pick it up on lunch. And thank goodness for AAA. I get a 10% discount. That brings it under $400. #
Heading out to the repair shop to pick up (and pay for the maintenance on) my car. Guess I’m getting my exercise today. #
Total repair bill after AAA discount: $357.81. About 50% of that total was labor alone. #
I am so scattered today. I just can’t concentrate. I thought this afternoon would be better since I have my car back. Guess not. #
