• Got my first paycheck for new job today. Wish there was more than 4.5 hrs on it tho. #

• Since the storm is passed and the city has cleaned up, today is going to be my first full day of the new job. Going in at 9am. #
• Survived the first half of my day. More training the rest of today and again tomorrow. #
• Feeling very overwhelmed after my first full day. Ahhhhhh! #
• The city of Fargo needs to widen 17th Ave S or do something else to fix the damn congestion. I’d take a different way home if I could. #

• On the news last nite, they mentioned that this could be the worst winter storm we’ve seen in a few years. Just great. #
• I’m being more lazy this morning than I planned. Haven’t gotten to the chocolate covered cherries yet. Do have roast in crock pot tho. #
• Cherries ready to be covered in chocolate. Letting ‘em chill for a bit first to let the candy coating stiffen up. Can’t wait to try one. #
• The jar of cherries said there were 30 in it. Turned out to actually be 51. Score!! #
• Having grilled cheese (w/ a little ham) and tomato soup for dinner. Then on to finishing the chocolate covered cherries. Then pecan tassies. #
• Crap. I didn’t think ahead. Should have taken out the butter and cream cheese so they could get to room temp. #
• Choc covered cherries done. Just barely had enough choc to cover. Used Hershey’s Special Dark choc chips. These should be gooooood. #
• Just tried one of my choc covered cherries to see how they turned out. Very tasty. Might have to make another batch. #
• Nothing on tv, so thew the Jeff Dunham xmas DVD in for background mood while baking. #

• I wish Dale Earnhardt Sr was still alive & driving. I didn’t really start watching ’til the middle of the 2000 season so missed his career. #
• Why do they have to show that crash. I don’t EVER wanna see it again. Seeing it the first time during that race was bad enough. #
• When that show comes out on DVD, I’m definitely gonna get it. #
