Random Thoughts of the Day

Earlier this week, I decided to place myself in a voluntary social media blackout. I tweet too much and spend too much time on Facebook (not playing any of the stupid games, just checking my news feed). Because of the blackout, I have a bunch of stuff running through my head that I would have normally tweeted during the day. So … that’s the purpose of this post.

Bail ME out

I’m really getting sick of all of the “bailout” talk. First it was the banks and financial institutions, and now it’s the auto industry. I understand that there is some legitimate need for bailing those entities out in some fashion … but $700 billion dollars? If they’re already in so much trouble, how the hell are they going to pay back the loans?
