As of about 10:30am, I am unemployed. It has nothing to do with performance. It was a budgetary decision. Thanks to our lovely economy. And here I thought the trouble wasn’t affecting us as much up here in ND as it was in other parts of the country. I guess I was wrong.

I’ve gotten back into development mode around here. For such a long time now, I just haven’t had the energy or ambition to work on my own websites after working on someone else’s website for 8 hours a day. I’ve added a couple new features to my blog after upgrading to WP 2.5. Gravatars will now be displayed in the comments. Right now, they’re only on the individual post pages and not in the expandable comments. I need to play around with that tomorrow nite to see if I can get them in there. I also installed the Twitter Tools plugin. That will be adding a daily post with a summary of my “tweets” […]

A while back, I decided to join Twitter. Now that I have, I’m completely hooked. I even downloaded Twhirl after Mace suggested I use a Twitter client and after seeing Christine posting from it. I’ve been using it ever since. Makes it much easier to keep up with the new ‘tweets’.
