I’ve been meaning to put up a post on my job search for the past week or so. I’m finally getting around to doing it.
So far, I’ve applied for 7 actual positions and sent my resume to 2 other companies that don’t currently have openings but are always accepting them. I have gone on 2 interviews, and I have another interview scheduled for tomorrow.

When I lost my job 2 weeks ago, I saw it as an end to my dream of owning a home. I need to NOT think of things that way. I need to see this as not an end, but just a delay.

Every adult out there has been unemployed at some point or another in their life. As of about 10:30am, I am unemployed. It has nothing to do with performance. It was a budgetary decision. Thanks to our lovely economy. And here I thought the trouble wasn’t affecting us as much up here in ND as it was in other parts of the country. I guess I was wrong.
