Time to file
I FINALLY got the tax form I needed from Job Service. Gotta love how the government waits ’til the last minute to send those things out. So guess what I’ll be doing tonite … filing my taxes … woohoo. I just need to track down that link to e-file for free. I think I found it on the IRS website in the past.
Free File allows taxpayers with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $52,000 or less in 2006 to e-file their federal tax returns for free.
I used Complete Tax in the past and will probably to with them again. I just wish it would turn out that my estimate was wrong that that I’ll get more than I estimated back. But that’s very unlikely. I’m just happy that I can finally file. The sooner I file, the sooner I’ll get my money. Then I can get my mp3 player (once I figure out which one I want) and then I can open an new checking/savings account at a new bank. I was gonna do that last year but ended up having to pay in (since I had too many withholdings on my W-4 or something or other).
Other random stuff …
I went with Robin this afternoon to register for baby stuff. Now I’ve got an inside look at what she wants/needs and what she likes. It’ll help me better figure out what to get her. I already have an idea of at least one thing that I’m gonna do. I’d say, but I know she reads this. Don’t wanna give that away … :G-razz1:
Anyways … when we were in Burlington Coat Factory, there was a VERY nice looking gentleman who was working in the baby section. :drool2: I should have messed more with the scanner so she had to go get his help. LOL But I behaved. That doesn’t mean I wasn’t checking him out though … :devil:
I also got the title for my car in the mail today.
I still haven’t gotten the $10 that Wells Fargo owes me for the late charge that they never should have charged me in the first place. I’ll give them ’til Wednesday to get it to me before I call and bitch again. Anyways … I have my title. My car is now really MY car. Feels good. At least that I won’t have that $250/month car payments anymore. :dancin:
I didn’t get a chance to call Verizon today since I was out with Robin. But I can do that either tomorrow or Monday when I’m on lunch. I’ve got time. I haven’t even gotten that bill in the mail yet. But I DO want it cleared up as soon as possible.
Well … I’m gettin’ kind of hungry. I’d better go figure out what I want for supper. I was going to make a beef stew for supper, but since I didn’t get home ’til 4:30, I decided to wait ’til tomorrow. I don’t wanna be rushed and I don’t wanna wait forever to eat. When I’m hungry, I’m hungry … LOL.
