My treat

I did something earlier today that I don’t usually do. I treated myself. 😀

I haven’t bought myself any new clothes in a while. I did buy a few things a couple weekends ago … a couple tanks and a shirt. But the only reason I bought them then was that they were all on sale. Today, I decided I was gonna get some new clothes today, whether they were on sale or not. Turns out that I lucked out. Both places I went had sales.

I went to Fashion Bug right after dinner. They had a few sales going on. I took advantage of the 50% off knit tops sale. I got 2 shirts. One was a tshirt … more of a polo really. The other was a dressier one, but still a little casual. And they didn’t look bad on me. I got both shirts for $22.48. And since I was over in Minnesota, there was no sales tax. :dancin:

Then I stopped at Payless. I’ve been wanting to get some new shoes, but I can never find any I like. They had a sale going on too … Buy 1 get 1 50% off. Both pair that I got were sandals. And one pair was even a wedge. 😯 I think Robin would be proud of me. 😀

I had also gotten a dressier shirt at Walmart this morning. So, all in all, I spent $61.80 on shirts and shoes. Wow! I really DID treat myself. I’m usually a tightwad … LOL. But I really needed new clothes. I could still use more. But this is at least a start.
