Parking lot rage?

I just HAD to blog this. I could have tweeted it, but I’m taking the week off of Twitter (just taking a step back … a twitter-cation so to speak). And I need more than 140 characters to describe it anyways. 😀

I went to CashWise after work tonite. I wanted to make bbqs for supper, but I didn’t have any buns. And I needed a few other things too. So it was just a quick trip, not a fridge stocker. It was a pretty uneventful trip. The only thing that made me mad was that they were out of all of the good flavors of the break and bake cookies that they have on sale this week (I’ll have to go back). I got my stuff and got out.

That’s where the “incident” happened. LOL I backed out of my parking spot and noticed another car (a suburban actually) that backed out AFTER I had started that could have hit me. I made some comment to myself (like I tend to do in parking lots). All of a sudden, the car stopped. Apparently she heard me. LOL The woman driving got out and yelled at me with her hands up in the air. Something to the effect of “what is your problem?”. I thought she was gonna come up and start banging on my window or something. I yelled back at her, “what’s YOUR problem?”. Only my passenger window was open. She yelled back and tossed in a few explicatives. To which I returned the yells and explicatives. She finally got back in her car. I thought she was gonna back up and ram my car. Nope. But at the stop sign to get out of the lot back onto the street, she hung around longer than she needed to. She must have been trying to piss me off. I just laughed and called her a name. As she turned on to the street, she stuck her head out the window and flipped me off. I flipped her off back, but I never even opened my window. Frickin’ idiot. She could have hit a car when she had her head out the window flipping me off rather than paying attention to traffic.

Yeah … I’ve gotten pissed off at other drivers and cursed at them … just ask my sister, she’s been in the car with me driving around Fargo. But I’ve never gotten out and approached another driver. I never would either … unless the other idiot hit my car.

I just found the whole incident funnier than hell. I should have taken a pic of her. But that would just have pissed her off even more. All she managed to do was make herself look like a fool and make her blood pressure rise. I needed a laugh after my day too.

  1. I love laughing at idiots like that who get all worked up in traffic. It’s not like you can control it, why get all worked up over it, jeez.
