While reading my tweets on my lunch break, I ran across a tweet by Nate Ryan about a House rep from MN proposing an amendment related to NASCAR.

MILITARY MUSIC/NASCAR — Rep. Betty McCollum (D-Minn.) has a pair of amendments that would prevent the military from advertising on NASCAR vehicles and limit to $200 million that can be spent on military bands.

Seriously? Doesn’t the federal government have more important things to do than worry about the military sponsoring cars in NASCAR? Don’t we have a deficit that is completely out of control? Isn’t our economy in the toilet?
