Dear Santa

Hey Santa. What’s up? Sorry I’m writing so late in the holiday season. I didn’t really have anything that I wanted to ask you for. I’m at a point where I can buy the fun toys that I want for myself (like my Fitbit and my Pioneer Woman dutch oven). But … if you have a little time to get me something, here are some ideas of things I’d like for Christmas.
- to be happy 1
- to be healthy 2
- to not be lonely
- an Apple TV (the only techie thing on my list)
- a cowboy 3
- or a country boy 3
- or a fireman 3
- or just a guy I can snuggle with on the couch 3
- someone to open up a REAL country bar in town
- or for me to win the lottery so that I can open up that country bar 🙂
- tires for my car that don’t go flat when it gets cold out
That’s it. Not really stuff you can find in a store (unless Men’s Warehouse is having a sale 😀 ).
As usual, I made waaaaaaaaay too many baked goodies this year. So I’ll leave some extras out for you at my house AND some out at my Mom & Dad’s house. 🙂 Feel free to share with the elves and take some home for Mrs. Claus.
Safe travels.
1 Several years ago, I bought a book called The Nine Rooms of Happiness by Lucy Danziger and Catherine Birndorf. I tried to read it a couple times but never got very far into it. I tried again recently, and this time I think I’m finally ready for it. I’m hoping it will give me a new perspective on my past and why I feel like I do. This plus the fact that I’m trying to get healthy, I’m hoping will also help me feel happy. But I could use all the help I can get. 🙂
2 I’ve been working on this recently. I’ve been working out before work and after work. I’ve been eating smaller portions and trying to eat healthy. I’ve cut out pop almost completed (but I still have a glass or bottle every now and then). But seeing some results would help me keep going. 🙂
3 These would help with the “to not be lonely” Christmas wish.
